Explaining.

Leaning Tower of Pisa

Oh, I forgot to tell you this. So I had to fly into Barcelona Gyrona airport, which is an hour outside of Barcelona. I thought that I would take the bus to Barcelona then catch a midnight bus to madrid. Okay, so I forgot it was a holiday weekend. Semana SAnta, Holy week, the week before easter is a holiday in most places in europe. So all the buses filled until 11:30 the next morning. I do not want to wait, I think I will go to the train station. So I get to the train station closed, till the morning. So I spend a night in a hotel lobby, then when they finally open the booths for trains to madrid 2nd class is completely booked until 6:30pm. So either I have to wait till then or pay 100 euro. So I wasn't waiting, I was tired and I just wanted to get home, so I forked over 100euro that i dont' really have, and this was my just rewards, a breakfast, it was an omlete in the first class car. And see the little bottle of olive oil and marmelade, peach marmelade, it's so cute. !!

More trip talk

Where did we leave off. I think it was the first day in Italy. Okay, next day. We also rise and shine early to get to the Uffizzi, another art museum. The birth of Venus, is there. It's quite nice. I liked the museum, but it gets to be a bit much after a while. So we arrived just as it opened and stood in line for about two hours, it's just like roller coasters on musuem tours. Okay, we are hungry. Lunch. Very good, with icecream. :) Now off to Pisa. Leaning tower of Pisa. Pisa, is a little town, didn't realize that. We walk all the way there, and take multitudes of pictures. We can not go up the tower, because we got there late and the next tour is not until after our trains leave. Sad, but we got pictures of us trying to push the tower over. It was a tiring and amazing five days, I am really glad I went. And Camille you are great, I love you. I'm glad to have gone with her. She made it all worth it. Okay, this was a tiring experience. And then when I got back I spent the whole week trying to write a 20pg paper. It's horrible, but I got it done. Yeah!! So now I am back in the land of the living, and not glued to my computer terminal. Okay, see ya soon. Oh, I made chicken curry, it was good, needed salt, but it was good. Tootles.!!
